The Association of Serviced Apartments Providers

ASAP is the only membership organisation representing professionally and ethically operated serviced accommodation.

#StayWithConfidence

About ASAP

Traditionally the choice of business travellers and relocation companies, the Serviced Accommodation sector started to find a new popularity among regular leisure guests during the pandemic. Self-contained, with their own kitchen, laundry and relaxation spaces, serviced apartments and aparthotels avoided the need for mixing with strangers or having to quit the apartment for daily housekeeping.

The ASAP Pillars

By joining the first and only membership organisation for the professional Serviced Apartment sector, ASAP Members sign our Code of Conduct which calls on them to operate safely and transparently, representing their properties honestly and keeping insurances and safety standards updated at all times.

And we go one step further. We know our Members personally; and are proud to represent this professionally managed sector to their own customers. Together we are driving the sector towards being a safe, inclusive, modern industry which delivers on its customer service and quality promises.

As part of this, we have recognised there are three pillars we can promote and live by, complementing the business traveller’s aspirations to travel safely again.

These are PeoplePlanet and Principles, and they inform and lead everything we do as an organisation and as a trade body.

PEOPLE

ASAP Members are our main focus, but also their own guests, travel buyers, the staffing challenges faced across hospitality, our Industry Suppliers, sponsors and partners. It’s all about People.

PLANET

Sustainability must be at the forefront of everyone’s activity, as the hospitality industry recovers; from how we travel to how we run our events, from how we purchase to how we dispose. We’re all on an ESG journey.

PRINCIPLES

Standards in the hospitality industry, and especially our own sector, are paramount. We always support and promote Accreditation and good practice across the sector, and diversity, inclusivity and equity

What Our Members Say

ASAP’s response throughout the Covid-19 pandemic has been the ultimate testimonial as to part the Association plays in supporting the sector. To the major benefits of networking, accreditation, conferences, best practice sharing and advocacy has been added the substantial impact of “influencing” major buyers and corporations.

ASAP has navigated the crisis representing it’s members with practical support and assistance while also making major inroads into enabling the buying community to value the associations input and enhancing the sectors reputation. If membership of the Association was a “nice to have”, Covid has proved that it is a necessity for all professional operators.

As a small company I find ASAP's support and guidance invaluable. They are a sounding board, an essential alliance for all industry news, challenges, successes, opportunities & partnerships. ASAP is a safe space to have open honest discussions through their online meetings, networking events, AGM's or even a one to one.

For your guests, it is a mark of quality and compliance, shouting to the world that your business does things right so they can book and stay with confidence as you stand out from the crowd. With People, Planet and Principals at the heart of everything they do, you can be assured you are collaborating with a team that cares.

Since the ASAP’s conception some 20 years ago the industry has changed beyond recognition. Obviously this is in part due to the individual efforts of all the operators, but the success of the sector as a whole can also be contributed to the tireless work of The Association which works equally for all its members both big and small.

It combines the individual strengths of all the members to create the great force that is required to drive the changes needed to make our sector grow and flourish within the ever more competitive hospitality landscape. As a successful operator within the sector, we have always recognised the importance in investing in the sector as a whole to the benefit of everyone.

Staycity has been an active member of ASAP for a number of years now and having seen the tremendous work they have done in bringing both recognition and validation to the sector. It’s been very beneficial to have such a key body representing the views and needs of both ourselves and our fellow members as well as being able to actively participate in all the wide ranging initiatives ASAP offer in order to help bring further awareness and recognition to our industry.

I would have absolutely no hesitation in recommending ASAP to potential new members as their valuable ongoing efforts will only further echo our message into the mainstream and continue to help enhance our brand.
